Pvt. U.S. {850037}, Marine Corps, World War II-Pvt. Ahlstrom was killed in the line of duty on 2-20-1944 while serving with the 22nd Marines in the South Pacific.
He is the son of Mrs. Eunice Ahlstrom of Box 82, Magnolia, Illinois, and he enlisted in the Marines on May 31, 1943.
Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Pacific Campaign Medal with One Battle Star, Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal.
Footnote: His body was returned for burial on 11-20-1947.
